Simply put, we protect caves and the ability of people to visit them for future generations.<\/p>\n

The Cave Preservation Network (CPN) is a collaboration of many dedicated organizations who care about caves. Cave explorers, cave owners, and the public all have a vested interest in protecting these fragile places.<\/p>\n

We use the funds from this program to protect more caves by making them NSS Nature Preserves, part of the NSS National Preserve System. This system supports not only NSS Preserves, but also cave conservancies working to protect caves and lands around the country. We are also increasing the funds available to make additional education and conservation programs for the public.  We support cave research objectives that give us insight into karst landscapes, and use new and innovative science to inform our education and outreach mission. <\/span><\/p>\n
